Savonia University of Applied Sciences is responsible for implementing a part within the Future Work Ability project that focuses on pedagogical well-being.

In this work package, we are developing pedagogical solutions in collaboration with teachers, diverse learners, and their respective organizations. The main objective of the work package is to promote well-being during studies and enhance students’ generic skills needed for maintaining and improving well-being in the workplace.

Within the work package, we are focusing to achieve:

  • Initial survey of existing good pedagogical practices and skill needs.
  • Concrete tools and models for learning guidance and facilitation that promote student well-being, developed through teacher training and experimental development in pilots.
  • Online training/micro-course series for university teachers on pedagogical methods that enhance students’ study ability and well-being.
  • Opportunity for training participants to demonstrate their skills by earning a competence badge.
  • Material package on well-being for students.
  • Publications and webinars.
